Triathlon Aero Hydration System - AeroTest

Our system fits standard stems with 4-point screw connections. A special conversion is therefore not planned. Since there are only a few standards in the bicycle sector, you should still check the dimensions of your bike (see fitting).

The aerodynamic impact of an individual component depends on the overall system and its settings. For example, an aerodynamically optimized cover is less advantageous for an already optimized frame than for a frame with high air resistance. The interaction and fitting of the individual components also have an impact on air flow and thus on  aerodynamics. Therefore, the test results presented below are intended to serve as an indication only.

We carried out road tests using different methods. All tests showed a CdA benefit using the Triathlon Aero Hydration System S1. As an example, we show the results of a test with Aerotune. We are happy to provide the system to independent professional testers for validation.

Aerodynamic benefit

in Watt

Test - CdA benefit: 0.013

Our test shows an improvement in the flow resistance (CdA value) of 0.013. This rather abstract value can also be translated to a watt advantage - see graph.

Note: The air resistance increases squared and not linear with speed and is therefore disproportionately greater at higher speed levels. Thus, watt advantage must always be considered in relation to speed.
