Triathlon Aero Hydration System - Size Guide

For certain bike models we provide a detailed allocation of our models S1 - S5 by frame size and stem length. For all other models refer to 'Other / General' for an overview of compatible stems and fitting templates for model allocation.

Canyon Speedmax CF

The Aero Hydration System is compatible with the original stem (V21) of the Speedmax CF for model years 2017 - 2023. Please note the different allocation for models with disc brakes (disc) and models with rim brakes (previous model). You can find the stem length on the side of the stem, next to the label "V21".

1) Canyon Speedmax CF Disc (with disc brake & V21 stem)

Please note: the system is not compatible with the integrated cockpit of the Speedmax CF Disc 2024

The Spacer below the stem (see picture) is required for some models. If it is removed, the remaining space is not sufficient for some models.

Cervélo P-Series 

The Aero Hydration System is compatible with the original stem of the Cervélo P-Series, supporting both, the latest generation (with ST36 Stem) and the previous generation (with Alloy Stem).


The tables refer to the standard setup (stem length) for the respective frame sizes.

2) Previous generation (until 6/2024)

Models with Di2 shifting system: The Aero Hydration System takes up the space below the stem. Consequently, the junction box may require repositioning (e.g. on the stem or inside the bento box).

Below you find an overview of stems with geometry compatible with the bracket of the Aero Hydration System. If you would like to use a different stem, please check the technical requirements.

Stem - inclination

Please note, that the system follows the stem and has the same inclination.


We do not recommend inclinations between 0° and -5°, as the bottle is slightly too steep in this range. Horizontal models (inclination -17°) are ideal. Downward sloping stems with an inclination greater than -17° are not suitable.


Some models are available in various inclinations. In the table we only show the relevant variants from -6° to -17°.

Other stems - technical requirements

The exact geometry of the stem is crucial for optimum functionality. If you are using a stem that is very similar to those listed above, you are welcome to contact us. Please check the following technical requirements in advance and send us pictures of your stem from the front and from the side. 

  • Stem - shape front plate

    The bolt heads of the stem bolts must be fully visible.


    The Aero Hydration System is not compatible with stems with deeply recessed bolts. A flush / non-positive assembly is not possible in this case. 


    There are a few exceptions, such as the Cervélo P-Series stem, which is compatible due to the special geometry of the front plates although the bolts are recessed.

  • Stem - bolt spacing

    The bracket is mounted on the lower bolts of your 4-bolt-stem.


    Please measure the outer distance of the bolts either on the bolt head (21 - 39mm) or on the thread (18 - 36mm).
